The Manhattan Slur - American Flatbread

Monday, March 25, 2013 (7:00pm to 9:00pm)

The Slow Food NYC monthly Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity - free and open to everyone.

With 3 popular locations in Vermont, American Flatbread, in Tribeca - its first restaurant outside of VT - serves up delicious salads and artisanal pizzas in an airy, sleek-yet-rustic spot starring wood-burning ovens made from Vermont clay. The ingredients are nearly all organic, down to the flour used in the pizza crust and the tomatoes in the sauce. American Flatbread sources many of its top-notch ingredients from small and local farms, and you'll find humanely-raised pork and nitrate-free pepperoni on the menu.

Our Slur will be in the cozy lounge area, where sustainable wines, craft beers, and local sodas are available. The restaurant will be extending its happy hour deal until 9 pm for our event ($5 beer and a $7 wine).  We hope to see you there.
