Manhattan Slur - The Liberty

Monday, June 30, 2014 (
7:00pm to 9:00pm

It's the Slow Food NYC monthly Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity — free and open to everyone.

The Liberty, a spacious watering hole that boasts soaring 18-foot ceilings and a long black granite bar, was inspired by two iconic New York spaces: the lobby of Rockerfeller Centre and the now defunct Cloud Club at the Chrysler Building. Elegant yet casual, the bar features a full food menu, from Long Island oysters to grass-fed beef sliders to fig & prosciutto pizza. The New York-inspired cocktail list stars libations based on each borough, including The Billyburg (using both Brooklyn Lager and local gin) and The Bronx Fall Classic, with vodka, apples, and cinnamon syrup.

We hope to see you there.
