Second Annual NW Queens Food Day

Saturday, June 7, 2014 (11:00am to 3:00pm)

Please join us for cooking demonstrations, community food advocacy + youth planting workshops, composting demos, the first growNYC Greenmarket of the season, and much more from local organizations + businesses, working together to build our community’s access to fresh + affordable food. All activities are free + open to the public.

The day, in partnership with Socrates’ annual Bike Parade, is a program of the Queens Action Council (QuAC).

The Queens Action Council (QuAC) is a group of community residents + advocates working to amplify the voices of Western Queens to raise awareness, and collectively build a more just and sustainable food landscape from the ground up.
