Kimberly Lok, Board Member

Kim has lived in NYC since 2005. Sharing the values of the Slow Food Movement she is passionate about supporting local food producers and increasing equal access to healthy foods to collectively create a food system that is ‘good, clean and fair’. Kim is currently a PhD student studying Sociology at Temple University. Her research is focused on alternative sustainable agriculture within the urban landscape and the impacts of globalization on agricultural production. She joined the board in 2012.
