About Our Design
Our store was designed by Tony nominated scenic designer Alexander Dodge. Our beautiful shelving was fabricated by Red Hook based carpenter Mark Edwards utilizing Yellow Longleaf Pine reclaimed from an old Brooklyn warehouse along with other salvaged relics of the city's industrial past.
We are located at the corner of Joralemon and Furman Streets in One Brooklyn Bridge Park, an historic waterfront warehouse that was converted into residential condominiums in 2008.
Additionally, our store sits at the Joralemon Street entrance to the new Brooklyn Bridge Park, an 85 acre sustainable waterfront park stretching 1.3 miles along Brooklyn's East River shoreline. The most significant new park in New York City in over 100 years, this gorgeous park offers unobstructed views of the harbor and skyline along with multiple playgrounds and recreational facilities.
