Laura and David Shea opened the intimate and cozy applewood in 2004 where they are dedicated to serving local and seasonal items on their frequently changing menu. The seasonality of their menus can be tasted in every course: from the cocktails to the desserts. David butchers his own hormone-free and antibiotic-free animals on-site and includes only wild fish on his menus. They have recently begun to do off-premise catering where David creates personalized seasonal menus for all occasions. Caveat: be prepared to put some big bucks on your credit card. Reservations a must.
