Brooklyn Brewery

It’s hard to enumerate everything the Brooklyn Brewery has done for Good, Clean and Fair food and drink in New York City: They brought the brewing tradition back to Brooklyn; they co-sponsored the Pigfest, one of Slow Food NYC’s first great successes; they’ve hosted two of our annual meetings and our highly successful benefit for Gulf Coast farmers and fishers after Hurricane Katrina; they use 100% wind-generated eletricity; their brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, is on the Board of Governors of Slow Food International. But finally, it’s all about the beer, and under Oliver’s direction, Brooklyn Brewery makes delicious craft beer.
