It's the Slow Food NYC monthly Happy Hour! It's fun, social, and informal. But it's also your opportunity to talk to the leadership of Slow Food NYC and let us know what you think. Got a great idea for an event? Looking for ways to get involved? Want to learn more about Slow Food? Just looking to have a relaxing drink with other "Slow" minded people? The Slur is your opportunity — free and open to everyone.
Lighthouse offers up fresh, seasonal fare using responsibly harvested fish and seafood, free-range poultry, grass-fed meats, and locally sourced ingredients in a uniquely bright, windowed space in the heart of South Williamsburg. Don't miss the homemade sourdough bread, along with the well-curated raw bar and boldly flavored Middle Eastern-inspired dishes like grilled escarole with tahini. Wine, beer, and a selection of carefully crafted cocktails (also available by the carafe!) are all on the menu. The owners are passionate about sustainability—they've teamed up with the Billion Oyster Project to recycle their oyster shells—and about creating a convivial, welcoming environment that makes Lighthouse a neighborhood favorite.
For our Slur, Lighthouse will extend its happy hour menu -- $7 margaritas, pineapple daiquiris, and selections of prosecco, white, red, and rose wines, plus gratis snacks with food orders. We hope to see you there!
